Once again MCI Benelux selected NEXT and ASP for the technical production of the VMware Forum and PEX on Tour Event. Instead of having the events in separate venues, both events were held in the large studio at Event Lounge. By sharing the venue, A/V equipment and the exclusive partnership between ASP and the Event Lounge, MCI was able to reduce costs significantly.

MCI developed a consistent look & feel for all European VMware events and therefore it was critically important to meet their specific guidelines and requirements. A close collaboration between MCI, SO Group and ASP enabled us to fully understand their needs and deliver to the expected standard.

We started with PEX on Tour. This event is dedicated to educating and helping Partner sales of VMware products across the globe. The plenary set consisted of a 48m2 stage, 3 x 12.000lm Barco projectors and an extensive lighting kit for the infinity wall. Within the same studio we created a 100 pax breakout room in sound absorbing velours. Here we used a 1m base fascia panel for the entire length of the projection screen with LED light wash. On the 1st floor we provided technical support in 3 workshops. The next day we welcomed the partners and peers for the Forum event to learn about the latest trends in managing virtual environments. Besides the plenary and breakout room ASP also supported the client in the exhibition area.

Due to the nature of VMware's products and services there was a high demand for high speed internet access. ASP provided optimal IT facilities by supplying all expo booths and registration desks with a hard wired internet port. Wireless internet was enforced to have a reliable Wi-Fi access throughout the venue.
